PMS – “Player Monitoring Service”
WHY?
* Through experience and conversations I realized that there is a general need for structured, long-term supervision, mentoring, advising of players and teams (player, parent, coach).
* They sometimes have unanswered questions. Now and then there is no certainty which way they should go and they need a little push to get them over the hump.
* Occasionally coaches, players and parents would like to hear a second opinion concerning performance and see things through different set of eyes.
* Very often players would structurally like their matches to be analyzed addressing the facts out of a video footage. By doing that they would start practicing more “to the point” and less general.
* Sometimes players reach a certain plateau, absolutely doing their best but still not managing to reach the next step with their way of thinking. Often a very small change is already enough to put them back on track.
* Club coaches are frequently very busy with teaching tennis and don’t have the time to deeply follow up the development of each and every player. Often they would even appreciate a little help.
* Experience shows that most of you need more support than what you’re getting.
WHAT?
* I offer a structured – “one to one” (mentor – mentee) developmental relationship.
* When needed, together with you, I provide answers to your questions.
*Functional principles are given upon which the winning tennis game is based. Following those principles, monthly tasks are given. Understand the principles and you will continuously have the big picture in front of you. You will not be lost in the labyrinth of options.
HOW?
* I require monthly a simple match-video of the mentee, taken using a smart-phone, a camera or streaming service if a tournament has it. If we are in proximity I can take the video myself as well! The length of the video can be any from 30min up to 1.5hrs, taken behind the players from a fixed spot. You can send easily files up to 20GB through my tennistroubleshoot.wetransfer.com
I will do the analyzing and come back to you and your team with an analysis of the match showing particular situations that need addressing. Your team will also get recommendations concerning the course of action for the coming month. Technical, tactical and mental adaptations will be addressed.
* If agreed I will seek contact with your local coach.
* Weekly we will have a 15-30min video conference call with each other in order to discuss the problems and find solutions. Tennis tasks will be given as well. During these calls mental coaching will be given as well from my side.
Initial contact
* During the initial contact a personality test will be offered and a questionnaire about your own self tennis knowledge.
* You as a player and your parents will get the chance to ask me tennis related questions.
* We will discuss the basic functional principles of tennis that will help you get the right picture about what really matters in tennis.

Agreement
* Our agreement and the price, depending on the ‘package’, are initially good for three months (a quarter of a year). If we all are satisfied after three months, it will be prolonged to the next three months.
